Na forma afirmativa o Simple Present Tense é igual ao infinitito sem to:

2ª exceção: Os verbos terminados em s, sh, ch, x, z e o recebem es na 3ª pessoa do singular:
to dress - She dresses well.
to do - He does the work.
3ª exceção: Se o verbo terminar em y precedido de consoante, transformamos o y em i e acrescentamos es:
to try - He tries to learn.
Na forma negativa usamos: auxiliar do + not + verbo principal (no infinitivo sem to). Apenas na 3ª pessoa do singular (He, She e It) substituímos do por does.
Na forma interrogativa o auxiliar (do ou does) antecede o sujeito.
